God is speaking to His people a change is happening but are you aware and how will you respond?

This year we have been called to shift. A shift from old mindsets to a new direction answering the herald clarion call. To shift or not to shift, that is the question?
Perhaps we have to know the pros and cons of either shifting from our current position or not, before answering the question.
A shift is defined as:
• to (cause something or someone to) move or change from one position or direction to another
• (of an idea, opinion, etc.) to change:
• the period that a person is scheduled to work, or a group of workers who work during the same period of time:
• a movement or change in something:
To shift requires great courage to move from your comfort zone (a state of familiarity and a degree of certainty) to new, unfamiliar terrain.
Not shifting might prevent you from meeting new people, acquiring new skills, finding fresh opportunities. However, it might make you anxious, the path unknown, fraught with uncertainty, and the gains might not be immediate.
Remaining in the same position creates a sense of comfort and familiarity that feels safe, which provides the space to consolidate learning and experiences. However, you can become stale, inactive, and fearful of moving on.
When you compare the pros and cons, you realise that whether you shift or not there will be downsides. Nonetheless, the benefits of shifting far outweigh it all.
Let us look at the father of faith; he is a prime example of remaining in what he knew as familiar until God demanded that he traverse new lands to settle (shift). The shift was not without its problems, wrestling with his former self, past and relationships. He went from Abram (exalted father) and became Abraham (father of a multitude).
Genesis 12:1-4: Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
This is what SHIFTING can do.
You will not experience the power of SHIFT if you loiter.
To become the new man, he had to let go of all ties, completely submit and surrender to God and in faith follow the path set by God with only part of the picture.
Hebrews 11:10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
In some translations it states that he was “looking, seeking, searching”.
The Kingdom of God is at hand, do you hear the clarion call?
The wind blows, the shift is occurring, will you trust the process? If you do, promise yourself, you will not look back and embrace your destiny.
